5th to 10th Otober 2025
RETREATS
Join Indra (@tulsiyoga) and Ros (@tulsikitchen7) in South Corfu from 5th to 10th October 2025. This 5 night Yoga retreat will take place at Sirens Beach Houses on Santa Barbara Beach, Marathias Corfu.
Arriving during the day on Sunday 5th October and running through until the morning of Friday October 10th.
Enjoy twice daily Yoga Sessions on the beautiful sandy beach. You will experience Breathwork Practices that you will be able to continue, long after the retreat has finished.
Enjoy the benefits of a regular Meditation Practice (even if you haven’t done so before).
Alongside this Yoga focus, your retreat will include specially designed Trips around this beautiful Greek island. These 2 to 3 hour trips will give you an opportunity to widen your knowledge of the Corfiot diet and sample local food and delicacies.
We know you will need time whilst you are with us to simply relax, swim and sunbathe on the beach.
You can eat delicious food and chat to new friends. Part of each day will be unstructured and free for you to decide how you’d like to spend it. During your stay, the Sirens’ sun loungers will be free for you to use and bikes are available for the more energetic amongst you!
This retreat will enable you to relax, explore and recharge, whilst savouring the late Corfu summer sunshine too. October in Corfu tends to be warm during the day but you will need a layer or two during the evening. It has been known to rain during this month too!
Our retreat will cater for a maximum of 12 people, so we will all get to know each other well.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is designed to give you the opportunity to spend time away from the stresses and strains of your everyday life. It will enable you to continue your exploration of yoga, if you have been practising yoga for a few years, but if you have only just started practising, this retreat will give you the time and space to develop your practice, with the support of Indra, an experienced teacher of 30 years.
Do you?
Like to spend several hours a day perfecting advanced yoga postures, then this isn’t the retreat for you. You will be working on asana, however Indra will also be including breathwork and meditation in the daily classes.
Love spending time by the sea, in a beautiful location, then this retreat is for you. Want to find out more about Corfu and enjoy eating traditional Greek food, then this retreat is for you.
Enjoy discovering more about the customs and traditions of another country, then this retreat is for you.
If you like to meet new people with similar interests then this retreat is for you.

A twice daily Yoga Class with Indra of @tulsiyoga:
Yoga Asana class: Indra will guide you through a variety of postures, offering a balanced blend of foundational poses, breath awareness, Meditation and Yoga Nidra. The classes will leave you feeling alert and refreshed.
Sunset meditations: practising on the beautiful beach, (where we used to holiday with our children), you will savour the soothing sunsets, and enjoy daily meditation practices.
Pranayama (Breathing techniques). We will explore and practise the art of breath awareness and breath techniques, to enhance our wellbeing and to discover how they can lead to a meditative state.
Yoga Nidra (deep, relaxing, yoga sleep) – which is everybody’s favorite practice! You will experience a guided, deep relaxation, either sitting or lying down. Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation practice, that includes affirmation and visualization techniques, to enhance personal growth.
Our Yoga Retreat is suitable for all levels...beginners and experienced Yoga practitioners, you are all welcome. Indra will take you through 5 days of a varied and dynamic series of Yoga poses and exercises for all levels, coupled with a deep exploration of meditation and breathing techniques. He also offers private 1:1 sessions if you’d like extra practice.
The most important part of each class is that you smile!

Yoga has been the cornerstone of my life for the last 33 years. It has given me a mental stability and clarity, which is hard to maintain in this world.
Yoga gives you the tools for transformation on every level of your being.
I started practising Yoga in Kathmandu in Nepal, over 30 years ago, as I had been looking for a different way to feel better after a bout of depression and I continued to attend Iyengar Yoga classes back in London. During a spiritual journey to India in the early 90s, I discovered the Bihar School of Yoga and was immediately struck by the high standard of teaching and wide array of yoga techniques. I completed an intense 6-month yoga training course there in 1993 and experienced how practising yoga could have serious healing and therapeutic qualities.
After a year spent living a yogic lifestyle and a further year in India, Indra returned to London and completed a 2-year Teacher Training Course at the London Satyananda Yoga Centre. Teaching Yoga full time for six years, Indra could see a change in the people he was lucky enough to teach, whether it was improvement in their mental health or in physical symptoms.
In addition to being a Staff Nurse in a general hospital and Reiki Healer to Level 2, Indra has taught regularly for more than 30 years.

I trained as a classical musician in London and went on to work in education for over 30 years, teaching all ages of children in schools, conducting choirs and also playing the piano.
I met Indra in 1997, our first date was at a Yoga Centre and I’ve been mad on yoga ever since! In July 2023 I retired from teaching and I now run my own vegan and gluten free food business (@tulsikitchen7) from our home in North Devon. I am an advocate of a holistic lifestyle: eating healthy food, practising meditation and exercising, through yoga, walking and swimming.
Indra and I brought our 2 children to Corfu on holiday when they were quite young and we have returned for several family holidays since. We met Spiros 2 years ago when we stayed in his beautiful Airbnb apartment. Running Yoga Retreats in Corfu is a dream come true!
I will facilitate the retreat and be on hand to answer any questions/issues on a day to day basis.

I was born in Corfu and lived here till the age of 17; I then moved to Athens for 3 years but then returned to Corfu.
Since I was very young, I have loved gardening and anything to do with nature; I think I got the bug from my mother, who was a keen gardener and my father, who was an olive grower. I still own a few fields of olive trees myself, here in Corfu, and for the last 4 years have produced my own olive oil, completely free of pesticides and fertilizers.
At the age of 27 I moved to the UK and studied horticulture at the Pershore Horticultural College. I also established my own gardening business, tending the gardens of clients such as Sue Barker, Susan Hill, Roy Axe, Brian Horton and Jeremy Houghton.
In 2019, I returned to Corfu to take over the family home and to run it as a successful Airbnb property. In the grounds of the house, I have also created an English garden, a rarity in Corfu.
I am passionate about Corfu and very knowledgeable about the history of the island. I will be guiding us round Corfu Town on our Walking Tour and I am happy to answer any questions you have about places to see on the island, local customs or indeed anything Greek!
